Mussings

MUSSING’S

I sit but for a moment, reeling in the wonder of the common place.

I listen to the hum of the amazing motorized machines on the highway.

A myriad of different personalities speeding along to their individual destinations,

All thinking their own private thoughts: concerned with the business of today.

I'm curious, how many like myself are contemplating the beauty and wonder this day holds?

The birds are singing their serendipitous songs outside my window.

The sun is shining warmly through the trees, caressing the chilled ground;

Causing the sparkle of morning dew to dissipate:

Scenting the air with the moist kiss of morning.

Ah!  Such heady perfume life!

What a joy to open my senses to it!
