Far Reaching Frolic

FAR REACHING FROLIC

I go to the mountains and leave the valley bellow,

To frolic about in the new fallen snow.

The valley is warm now though winter is here,

And the streets are alive with neon "good cheer".

But in the mountains I find the silence such bliss...

My mind becomes clear as the crisp airs kiss.

What a joy for a moment to escape this world's rush.

And for a time in this frozen brush to trod:

This snow clad path alone with GOD!
